The Inventory of Perceptual Skills (IPS) assesses visual and auditory perceptual skills, and provides the structure for individual remedial programs including:

Visual Discrimination
Visual Memory
Object Recognition
Visual-Motor Coordination
Auditory Discrimination
Auditory Memory
Auditory Sequencing
Auditory Blending
The IPS is easily administered by teachers, aides, or specialists. Once scored and recorded on the Student Profile, a graphic comparison can be made of all of the subtests. A score below the mean on any subtest indicates a weakness in that area.

The Teacher's Manual contains many educational activities in visual and auditory perception. Games, exercises, and activities provide the teacher with a variety of approaches and materials to use with the student.

The Student Workbook includes 18 exercises to improve the areas in need of remediation.
